Notre Dame Prep Linebacker Ryan Reardon Shares His Off-season Preparation with Ross Shimabuku on 3TV

Since the beginning of April, Notre Dame Prep Linebacker Ryan Reardon has been focused on making an impact on his future. It all began the day he showed up at Ikei Performance for his first day of training. “I really want to continue playing football at the next level and know that I have to work extremely hard during the off-season. I’ve been to many camps and combines where coaches seem to like me but a lot of them tell me that I need to gain weight,” explains Reardon as he is being interviewed by 3TV’s Ross Shimabuku. “I heard about Ikei Performance through Covaughn Deboskie and saw what they did for him and his brother during their summer training, so I decided to make a commitment and train where I can be pushed to the next level.”

All it took was a simple phone call to arrange a meeting with Ikei Performance coaches and the rest is history. Since starting his training program at Ikei Performance Reardon bulked himself up to a solid 217 lbs from an end of season weight of 185 lbs. His strength, speed, agility and conditioning are at new highs. In fact, he went from running a 5.0 second 40-yard dash to a 4.67 second personal best. “The commitment and sacrifice that Ryan has made to himself shows the level of maturity this young man has. He trains at our facility 6 days a week and twice at day at times. It’s like his second home and we’re proud to have him as part of our Ikei Performance Family. He’s a talented athlete and will be a force to be reckoned with this football season,” comments Ikei Performance Owner Chad Ikei.
